1st Conference Information Architecture as an academic discipline (AIDA 1)

5-6 June 2018

About
the conference

The AIDA conference is addressed to representatives of institutes and centres offering courses, specialisations, and subjects in the fields of information architecture (AI), usability, information graphics and information design. Employees of companies designing services and information systems, working in the field of UX/HCI, as well as students, including members of scientific circles, are also warmly invited to participate. Information architecture is a new field and profession that deals with the universally understood design of information in a way that makes it easy for the user to understand, and at the same time useful and functional. Adapting the information message to the needs of users in a world of information overload also requires original methods based, among other things, on the concept of User-Centered Design. The cooperation of all interested circles therefore seems essential for the education of information architects to stand out at an important level, which is determined by the innovation of didactic methods, the development of theories and scientific research that form the basis for thinking about the modern and useful shape of information objects filling the infosphere of modern man.
