The speed of development of modern technology, as well as the amount of uncontrolled information created daily on the Internet, has led to information overload. A person facing a critical amount of data is unable to adapt to information overload. In this situation, the main problem is the ability to select pages and quickly obtain the necessary information with the existing limits of information perception by human capabilities. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the amount of information on the Internet and the speed of generating new data. In addition, it is necessary to review the behavior of people on the Internet and existing methods of filtering information. Based on the results, an analysis is made of the data obtained in order to find solutions.
