Projection techniques in user-centred design on the example of a study of the Information Portal of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń

Magdalena Cyrklaff-Gorczyca, Paweł Marzec

The main aim of the research is to compare the results of using selected projection techniques during workshop meetings carried out in user-centred design. Card sorting and evaluation of paper prototypes will be used as projection techniques. Comparisons will be made between the results of the workshop sessions and the varying ways in which the participants’ work is organised. Variations will involve participants working in individual or team modes. The research is intended to answer the question of whether and how the organisation of the workshop sessions, influences the results of the ongoing research. It will be carried out in the course of work on designing the Information Portal of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
