From M. Dewey to L. Rosenfeld and P. Morville: information architecture in terms of information science

This presentation attempts to outline the areas of information architecture (IA) present in IA programs curricula, as well as the links between IA and library and information science (LIS) theory and methodology. The curricula content analysis was conducted, based on categorization of IA research areas: user -content -context. As a result, similarities and differences in IA programs curricula at Polish public universities were indicated and their relationships with LIS were highlighted.
