Minimalism as one of the trends in web design

The aim of this paper is to present minimalism as one of the trends in web design. Its main element will be a presentation of 10 heuristics of minimalism I have created, aspects of which concern both user interface and user experience issues. They constitute a list of principles which a website should fulfil in order to be called minimalist. Three subpages of five websites from the fashion industry were studied. The research method was a heuristic analysis, which at the same time indicated specific principles most frequently applied by designers of minimalist online shops from the fashion industry.
