Student’s information competencies: self-assessment and assessment of suitability. Comparative study

The results of research on information competencies of Polish students of IT studies, history and journalism were presented. The research is of a comparative and continuation nature, i.e. referring to the results obtained by Maria Pinto and Rosaura Fernandez Pascual in their projects concerning history students (2012) and scientific information and library studies (2016) as well as studies by Pinto et al. 8 fields of study in social sciences conducted by students (2016). They are based on the slightly modified questionnaire Literacy-Humanities and Social Sciences (IL-HUMASS).
