The purpose of this presentation is to present the information architecture of Filmweb, the largest and most visited Polish website in the film industry. The author presents the scope of changes which took place at Filmweb over 10 years ago. The research was conducted using a document analysis method and a comparative method. The paper answers the following research questions:
How is the Filmweb portal structured? How has Filmweb’s information architecture evolved since its inception?
The Filmweb portal is the largest and most visited film-related portal in Poland. As a result of changes to the layout and layout made in 2010, using the site has become more intuitive, but there are still features that make it difficult to use, such as ads temporarily blocking access to the site, or the presence of gossip articles.
