Information architecture of Polish open access journals publishing platforms

The paper presents the problem of information architecture elements used in the Polish publishing platforms dedicated to open access journals. The author analyzes the distribution and occurrence of labels applied to particular area of journal information and full texts archives. Also she explores their diversity within particular platforms. In the conclusions she tries to answer the question about the unification of specific naming of such elements and the structure of their occurrence (e.g. clustering) and their influence for the transparency of academic communication in Polish open journals published on the discussed platforms. She compares the results with the international guidelines known as Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, developed by The Committee on Open Access Journals, the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association and the World Association of Medical Editors.
