The presentation is intended to show the importance of information architecture in the press. The daily press of the XIX and XX centuries has a characteristic information architecture visible in information organization systems (ordered internal structure of the periodical), labeling (names of departments or headings), navigation (content lists) and searches (finding materials by pagination). The analysis of information organization and evaluation of the evolution of the form will be presented on the example of selected Polish dailies, which appeared until 1918, including: Przedświcie (Lwów), Głos Narodu (Kraków), and Polak-Katolik (Warsaw).
